Abstract Guidelines
General
- All abstracts must be submitted via WCIM platform only.
- All abstracts must be submitted in ENGLISH, including the title, content, names of the authors, affiliations, figure and graph.
- All online abstracts will be automatically edited according to the WCIM 2026 supplement’s format.
- Authors are responsible for reviewing and correcting their submissions, as abstracts will be reproduced exactly as submitted, therefore proofreading beforehand is essential.
Submission Rules
- Each author may submit up to two abstracts, and a maximum of two abstracts per author can be accepted.
- Authors must indicate their preferred presentation type (ORAL or E-POSTER) by checking the appropriate option during online submission.
- Each abstract must be submitted by the presenting author (the submitter).
- Only oral presentations require designation of the presenting author.
- Submission of an abstract implies that the presenting author:
- Has obtained the consent of all co-authors.
- Has secured all necessary institutional approvals.
- Accepts that the abstract may be published in the official congress abstract book.
Review Process
- Each contribution may be presented either as an Oral Presentation or as an E-Poster, but not both. The congress reserves the right to determine the final presentation format, regardless of the author’s indicated preference.
- All abstracts will undergo a confidential peer review, and decisions made by the Committee are final.
Registration Requirement
- The presenting author is required to complete registration and payment once the abstract is accepted.
- By submitting an abstract, the presenting author agrees to:
- Register for the congress.
- Attend the congress in person.
- Present the abstract as scheduled (Oral Presentation).
Abstract Format
All abstracts must be submitted online, please refer to the information below.
Title
- Use a clear and concise title (maximum 30 words).
- Capitalize the full title.
- Refrain from using abbreviations.
Authors
- Provide full names (first name + surname) for all authors.
- Do not include academic degrees or titles.
- The corresponding author should be marked with an asterisk (*)
- Maximum 15 authors per abstract (including the presenting author).
Affiliations
- Each author should be listed by department, institution and country.

- Use single spacing between each section.
- Maximum 600 words in total.
- Abstracts will be published exactly as submitted and will not be edited in any way.
References
- Maximum 5 references, included within the 600-word limit.
Images
- Maximum 5 images per abstract.
- Total content must fit 1 page.
- Each image must be ≤ 500 KB, size 600(w) x 800(h) pixel.
- Image will appear at the bottom of the document by default.
